I was responsible for consulting Royal Caribbean on Cruising Power, a web-based tool designed for travel agents to create and manage vacation reservations. I had the opportunity to inquire two subject matter experts at different travel agencies to better understand their current interactions with clients and to ultimately identify pain points in existing workflow while focusing on four primary use-cases: creating a reservation for an individual or group and amending details of existing reservations.
The Princeton Review
Digitaria took on a rapid, phased approach to re-designing The Princeton Review's site. Admittedly a quick & dirty method suited for most agencies, I remained stern on process by focusing on business goals while identifying key scenarios based off personas before constructing any design ideas. By doing so, it helped the client and our internal team by giving context to what problems we were trying to solve through design rather than resorting to selling a visual revamp.
